No Means of Disconnect at A/C Unit
The a/c unit is required to have a “disconnect” or a way to shut it off, apart from the circuit breaker, should the breaker be more than 50 ft. away, or out of sight. The reason for this is the personal safety of any person working on the a/c unit. They can disconnect power to the unit and lock it off, thereby preventing shock or electrocution. This should be addressed immediately.
