Properly Sized Wiring and Fuses
Properly sized fuses or circuit breakers are just as important as landing gear on a plane. Without the right size your out of luck. The fuse or breaker is determined by several factors:
1. conductor or wire size.
2. Insulation type on the conductor
3. Number of conductors in a cable or conduit
4. Ambient temperature surrounding the conductor. What determines the conductor size is the “load” or equipment the circuit will operate.
